I’m Chasity Melvin and I’m from Roseboro, North Carolina. At age 12 I picked up a basketball and from that moment on that’s all I’ve ever wanted to do.
I love the game, play the game, talk about the game and when I’m done I still want to work around the game. I just love basketball and I’m passionate about it.
I played four years at NCSU under the great Coach Kay Yow and graduated in Mass Communications. I’ve since played in the ABL, WNBA and 12 years overseas in Israel, Spain, Italy, Poland, Korea, China, Russia, and Turkey. I’m currently still pursuing playing professionally and an aspiring broadcaster or sideline reporter.
When I’m not playing basketball I enjoy quality time with my family and friends. I love reading, taking road trips, listening to music and laughing. I live by that motto Live Love Laugh. I’m blessed and highly favored and give all thanks to God for his grace and mercy.
