LeBron James showed me and the rest of the world exactly why he trusted his sponsors to keep his logo King James. He may not be fit to be King in Cleveland anymore but only someone of “King James” stature would draw 7.1 million or more viewers to watch his return to Cleveland.
The fans by any means necessary had planned to throw a monkey wrench in LeBron’s homecoming. The fans taunts and boos were no problem for the dethroned King of Cleveland. King James was cool, calm and collective as he scored a career high 38pts in 3 quarters. Lebron got the Monkey off his back and left the city of Cleveland, Bryon Scott and company the wrench problem.
From that point on LeBron James has taken control of the Heat and they have won six straight. In the Heat’s sixth win against the Utah Jazz the “King” just missed having a triple double with 33pts 9 asist and 7 rebounds. LeBron played with ice in his veins in Cleveland and has since played hot like a burning Fire with the Heat. As of late he has silenced me, the media, and the Haters. Either you love or hate him but if you love the game you have to respect what he has done. Because as he keeps balling and showing us a glimpse of what is to come. We just may join in and call him not only the “King” but “The Chosen One”.
As a fan I’m excited to see LeBron playing like LeBron again, getting more comfortable and feeling the Heat. He and D-Wade have shown they are explosive in the opencourt. They are both slowly but surely learning to play off each other in the half-court. If the Heat’s temperature gets any hotter the Lakers, Celtics, Magic and the rest of the NBA have cause for concern.
The combination of King James bringing the Fire and D-Wade bringing the Heat easily transferrable on any given night is a chemical reaction that will cause a huge explosion. An explosion that can cause one of those burning flames that’s almost impossible to stop.
